We were given the assignment to create a fully hand tied greying wig and then give it a contemporary short clipper haircut of our choosing. I selected Pierce Brosnan as my strongest inspiration. I started by hand sewing a custom foundation with clear thread. Then I tied a blend of synthetic hair to create an effect of greying as the hair progressed up the head, particularly around the hairline. This was my first time using clippers on a wig.
